Guide prices for every bollard type we install, in three specification tiers, with the sources behind them.
How much does bollard installation cost?
Most single fixed steel bollards cost around £195–£895 each supplied and installed (plus VAT), removable and telescopic posts roughly £245–£1,195, and automatic rising bollards from about £2,995 per bollard once controls, ducting and commissioning are included. Crash-rated systems cost more again. Ground, access and quantity make the biggest difference.
These are guide prices for supply and installation. Where we could, we built them from UK installer price lists, supplier list prices, public contract awards and cost guides; where published evidence was thin (for example installed crash-rated and shallow-mount systems, lighting bollards and removal) the ranges are our estimates. Each row says which. Business prices are shown excluding VAT, with the including-VAT figure underneath for products homeowners buy. Each type has three typical specifications.
What moves the price most: the number of posts (set-up costs are shared), the ground (block paving and concrete cost more to break out and reinstate), buried services, access for plant, out-of-hours working, and any highway permit or traffic management.
