Who we are

This website, bollard-installers.uk, is operated for Bollard Installers, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889, registered office 65 Hembs Crescent, Birmingham B43 5DG).

The data controller for personal data collected through this website — forms, the price calculator, live chat and analytics — is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company number 16703925, 65 Hembs Crescent, Birmingham B43 5DG). When you go ahead with a survey, quote or job, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the controller for quote, contract and job records.

What we collect

• Contact and quote forms: name, phone, email, site postcode, the service you choose, your message, and quote details (bollard type, quantity, ground, specification, extras, guide price, region), plus the page and website you sent it from.
• Live chat (Tawk.to): what you type, and the details you enter in the pre-chat form (name, phone, email, postcode, message, consent).
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — not currently switched on. If we enable it, it will load only if you click Accept, and record pages viewed, device, approximate location and events such as form submissions and call clicks.
• Video: if you accept cookies on the homepage, or press play on a service-page video, the video streams from our media host's content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront), which receives your IP address like any web request. No cookies are set.
• WhatsApp: if you message us, WhatsApp's own terms apply to that conversation.

Why we use it, and the lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote — legitimate interests, and steps before entering a contract.
• To carry out and administer work you have agreed — contract.
• To understand how the website is used — consent (you can withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings).
• To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as accounts — legal obligation.

Who we share it with

• Installation crews working under our management, so they can survey and carry out the work.
• Web3Forms (form delivery), Tawk.to (live chat), Netlify (website hosting), our video host's CloudFront network, our email provider and, if we switch analytics on, Google — as processors acting on our instructions.
• Companies in the S&K Group that administer quotes, contracts and accounts.
• We do not sell your details or pass them to other companies to market to you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 24 months, then deleted. Customer and job records: 6 years after the job, for accounting and legal claims. Analytics data: 14 months.

International transfers

Some processors (for example chat and analytics providers) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. Contact us at sales@bollard-installers.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
